HOW IT WORKS

From API key to Kick data in four steps.

Run a sample below without a key.

  1. 01

    Get your API key

Create a free account and copy your key. You start with 100 free credits; no card needed.

  2. 02

    Choose an endpoint

Pick one of the 1 Kick endpoint and add its input, such as a public URL.

  3. 03

    Send one request

Call it with your key in the x-api-key header. ScrapeAtlas reads the public Kick data and retries when a read fails.

  4. 04

    Use the JSON

Get structured JSON with a coverage status. Only successful requests use a credit.

Kick API and scraping

What clip data can I retrieve with the Kick API?

Retrieve a public Kick clip as structured JSON with its identity, title, creator, playback information, thumbnail and current counters. Use this endpoint to build clip previews and a searchable highlights directory.

How do I scrape a Kick clip from its public URL?

Send the public clip URL to the Kick Clip endpoint. The response keeps the clip metadata and media references together, so your application can associate a highlight with its creator and source clip.

Which public clip URL formats does the Kick API accept?

Pass a Kick channel URL containing the clip query parameter or a channel’s /clips/ clip URL. The Clip endpoint resolves the clip identity and returns its metadata together with a canonical source URL.

Kick: clip metadata and playback links

Can the Kick clips API provide playback and thumbnail URLs?

Yes. The clip response includes the media and thumbnail URLs published in the player metadata. Use those references alongside the clip title and creator when building a clip preview in your application.

Which Kick clip metadata can I use for a highlights directory?

Use the clip title, creator identity, source URL, thumbnail, playback metadata and counters to describe each highlight. Your application can store and organize the returned clip records for its own directory.

Can I retrieve Kick clip views, likes and duration?

Yes. Clip returns view and like counters, duration and creation information alongside the title and channel. Your application can use these fields to compare selected highlights and display their playback length.

API access and integration

How do I get a ScrapeAtlas API key and authenticate requests?

Create a ScrapeAtlas account and generate an API key in the dashboard. Send the key in the x-api-key request header when calling https://api.scrapeatlas.com. The API playground lets you enter an endpoint’s parameters and inspect its JSON response.

Can I call the scraping API from Python, JavaScript or the CLI?

Yes. Send authenticated HTTP requests from Python, JavaScript or another language that supports HTTP. The endpoint reference includes request examples and response fields. Use the ScrapeAtlas CLI for terminal workflows and pass the returned pagination values when requesting additional result pages.

Can I connect an AI assistant to the ScrapeAtlas MCP server?

Yes. Connect an MCP-compatible assistant to the ScrapeAtlas MCP server to discover and call the public platform tools with your ScrapeAtlas account. The agent reference also gives coding assistants a readable guide to the endpoints and their request schemas.
