1. Your agreement with us
Your agreement is with OD. Media & Technology LLC, License No. 2431901.01, Sharjah Media City, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (“we” or “us”). By creating an account or using ScrapeAtlas, you accept these terms. If you act for a business, you must be authorized to bind it. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. If you do not accept it, do not use the service.
2. What ScrapeAtlas provides
ScrapeAtlas retrieves supported public information from third-party platforms and returns structured responses for your applications and workflows. The documentation defines each endpoint's supported inputs, bounds and output coverage. A partial response represents only the available portion; a missing value is not proof that the underlying fact does not exist.
Source platforms and their users control the underlying content. We are independent of those platforms and do not represent that they endorse our service. An API response is neither verification of a source claim nor permission from a rights holder to use their material. Platform operators and rights holders can raise access or content concerns through the Public Data Notice complaint process.
3. Accounts and credentials
Keep your account information accurate and your passwords and API keys confidential. Use keys in secure server environments, avoid exposing them in public code, and revoke compromised keys promptly. Tell us at admin@fddigital.net if you suspect account misuse. You are responsible for the integrations and users you authorize and for protecting access to your account.
Respect published concurrency, request and resource limits. Keys can expire or be revoked, so your integration should handle authentication failures. We may require verification before restoring access or making sensitive account changes.
4. Permission to use the service
While you comply with these terms, you may access ScrapeAtlas for lawful research, internal operations, and applications you build for your users. This permission is limited, non-exclusive and subject to your account's applicable limits. It does not transfer ownership of our software, branding or documentation.
You retain rights in your own applications and materials. Rights in retrieved content remain with their respective owners. Obtain any permissions, notices and lawful basis required for your collection, storage, analysis and distribution of that content, and comply with applicable source-platform terms. Contact us before reselling access to ScrapeAtlas itself or offering an unmodified proxy of our API as a competing service.
5. Uses we do not allow
Do not use ScrapeAtlas to break the law, infringe rights, commit fraud, distribute spam, deceive people, or facilitate harassment, stalking or doxxing. Do not build biometric-identification databases, re-identify anonymized people, or profile individuals using sensitive personal characteristics. Unlawful surveillance or discriminatory decision-making is prohibited.
Do not use the service to bypass source-platform login requirements, paywalls or access restrictions, or continue access you are not authorized to undertake. Do not request private messages or login-restricted information, supply stolen credentials, defeat our authentication or usage limits, create accounts to exploit allowances, or interfere with service security or availability. These terms do not restrict rights that applicable law makes non-waivable. We may investigate suspected misuse and restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect people or the service.
6. Prices, credits and payment
Paid access, when offered, uses one-time credit top-ups. There are no monthly plans or recurring subscriptions. Purchased credits do not expire: unused balances stay in your account indefinitely and carry forward without a monthly reset. The purchase offer identifies the price, currency, taxes and number of credits before you pay. Credits measure usage; they are not money and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
Successful API requests consume credits at the rate documented for the endpoint. A successful partial response is chargeable because it contains usable data within the stated coverage. Failed requests are not charged; any credits reserved for a failed request are released or restored. Contact us with the request identifier if you believe a deduction is incorrect.
We may offer starter credits once per eligible new account, with the amount and conditions stated in the offer. Creating duplicate accounts or otherwise exploiting a starter allowance is prohibited. Changes to promotional offers apply prospectively and do not expire purchased balances. Prices may change for future top-ups; a change does not retrospectively alter a completed purchase. A preview balance is not evidence of a purchase.
Except where your order or mandatory law provides otherwise, delivered digital credits and consumed service usage are non-refundable. We may consider exceptions for a billing mistake or demonstrable service failure. Contact admin@fddigital.net with the transaction reference and relevant request identifiers; never send card numbers or API secrets. Statutory cancellation and refund rights remain unaffected.
7. Data handling and customer responsibilities
Our Privacy Policy describes account data, operational records, public-data processing and privacy requests. Retrieval workers do not provide persistent storage or an archive of API results. If you need retained results, you are responsible for your own lawful storage, security, retention and deletion practices.
Handle requests from people whose data you use and comply with privacy, intellectual-property and marketing laws. If your use requires a data-processing agreement or transfer terms, arrange those with us before submitting that workload. Do not assume that the public nature of information or your payment for access establishes a lawful basis for every use.
8. Availability and changes to the service
Platforms can remove content, alter layouts or restrict automated access. Requests can fail, be limited, or return incomplete data. We may maintain, change or discontinue features, and will provide reasonable notice of material changes when practicable. Urgent security, legal or upstream changes may require immediate action.
Unless a separate signed agreement says otherwise, we do not promise a particular uptime, throughput, response time, data accuracy or continued availability of an endpoint. Preview and experimental features may change as development continues. Build appropriate error handling and independently check results before relying on them.
9. Suspension and closing an account
You can stop using ScrapeAtlas and request account closure at admin@fddigital.net. We may suspend or end access for a material breach, non-payment, fraud, a legal requirement, or a reasonable security or abuse concern. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and allow an opportunity to resolve it; immediate action may be necessary in urgent cases.
After closure, your access permission ends and keys are disabled. Outstanding lawful payment obligations remain due. Unused credits are handled under the applicable purchase terms and mandatory law. If we permanently discontinue paid service for reasons unrelated to your breach, we will refund the unused prepaid portion that we can no longer supply. Privacy and retention obligations, accrued claims, ownership provisions and limitations that logically continue after closure remain effective.
10. Warranties and liability
To the extent the law permits, ScrapeAtlas is supplied “as is” and “as available,” without implied assurances of merchantability, suitability for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that data is current, complete or free from errors, or that use will produce a particular business outcome.
To the same extent, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit, business opportunities, goodwill or data. Our total liability arising from the service or these terms is limited to the fees you paid for ScrapeAtlas in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct or any responsibility that applicable law prohibits us from excluding or limiting. Non-waivable consumer rights remain in force.
11. Third-party claims
If you use ScrapeAtlas for a business, you will indemnify us for third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use, infringement of another person's rights or material breach of these terms, to the extent caused by you. This does not cover claims caused by our own breach or misconduct. We will give reasonably prompt notice and cooperate in the defence; a settlement must not impose admissions or obligations on us without our consent.
12. Governing law and other provisions
The laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Sharjah govern this agreement. Disputes belong in the courts of Sharjah, UAE, except where mandatory law gives you a different right or forum. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply, with the affected provision limited only as necessary. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. These terms and any applicable accepted order or signed agreement make up the agreement for ScrapeAtlas; a signed agreement takes priority for a conflict within its scope.
13. Updates and contact
We will post revised terms with an updated date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the service or account email where practicable, and any notice required by law. Changes required urgently for law or security may take effect sooner. Continued use after the stated effective date accepts the revised terms; if you disagree, stop using the service and contact us about closing your account.
