HOW IT WORKS
Run a sample below without a key.
Create a free account and copy your key. You start with 100 free credits; no card needed.
Pick one of the 5 Bluesky endpoints and add its input, such as a public handle.
Call it with your key in the x-api-key header. ScrapeAtlas reads the public Bluesky data and retries when a read fails.
Get structured JSON with a coverage status. Only successful requests use a credit.
TRY IT HERE / LIVE SAMPLE
Try the Bluesky API right here. This sample uses the Get a Bluesky profile endpoint and returns live JSON. No API key needed.
Start with nytimes.com, or change the handle field to your own value.
Execute the sample code and see the response in the JSON response tab.

Bluesky API
Retrieve profile identity, biographies, images and follower counts, account feeds, individual posts and nested replies. Batch endpoints let your application retrieve several profiles or selected post views in one request.
Pass a handle or user ID to User Posts to retrieve posts, replies and reposts with media and engagement counts. Use the returned cursor to request another page, or look up a particular post by its Bluesky URL.
Pass the post URL to Post Details to retrieve the author, text, media and conversation data in one response. Use the post identity and source link to connect the record to a saved research entry.
Yes. Profiles Batch accepts handles or DIDs and returns profile metadata with a result for each requested actor in input order. Use the identity, biography and audience counts to enrich a creator shortlist.
Yes. The individual Post endpoint returns the post, author, media metadata, engagement counts and nested replies. Posts Batch retrieves selected post views by their canonical AT URIs for side-by-side content research.
Post Details returns engagement counts alongside the post and author. Posts Batch lets you retrieve selected AT URIs together, so your application can compare the returned counters across a defined set of posts.
Create a ScrapeAtlas account and generate an API key in the dashboard. Send the key in the x-api-key request header when calling https://api.scrapeatlas.com. The API playground lets you enter an endpoint’s parameters and inspect its JSON response.
Yes. Send authenticated HTTP requests from Python, JavaScript or another language that supports HTTP. The endpoint reference includes request examples and response fields. Use the ScrapeAtlas CLI for terminal workflows and pass the returned pagination values when requesting additional result pages.
Yes. Connect an MCP-compatible assistant to the ScrapeAtlas MCP server to discover and call the public platform tools with your ScrapeAtlas account. The agent reference also gives coding assistants a readable guide to the endpoints and their request schemas.
