- Posts, liked posts, followed blogs, community posts and search/tag results: limit 1 to 100, default 20. Post notes: limit 1 to 50, default 50. Pass the returned cursor with the same endpoint and inputs to request another page.
- A blog handle is 1 to 32 lowercase letters, digits and interior hyphens; a community slug is 1 to 100. Search and tag text is 1 to 200 characters. Post permalinks are at most 1,024 characters, and cursors at most 12,000 characters.
- Each operation has a 25-second deadline, an 8 MiB decoded-response cap and at most three upstream requests, including one transient retry. Parsing is bounded to depth 32 and 150,000 nodes.
- At most four active requests and eight queued requests, with a queue wait of at most 10 seconds.
- Each content or description has at most 500 native blocks. Posts retain at most 100 reblog-trail entries, 100 layout entries and 200 tags or structured tag records.
- Blog avatars and community image variants have at most 20 records; top tags at most 200; linked accounts at most 100. Community guidelines, reactions and engagement previews have at most 100 entries each; each reaction preview list has at most 100 entries. Community-label arrays, their category arrays and note formatting have at most 100 records each. Rollup responses have at most 50 groups, with at most 50 notes per group.
- Responses include status, coverage and accounting. Pagination, omitted non-post records, field limits and unknown interaction types produce explicit warnings.
