Coverage & limits

  • List requests accept limit from 1 to 100, default 20; search pages are numbered 0 to 100.
  • Handles contain 1 to 64 characters, publication and tag slugs contain 1 to 100 characters, search phrases contain 1 to 200 characters, and story URLs contain at most 1,024 characters.
  • Reading list IDs contain 12 lowercase hexadecimal characters.
  • Opaque continuation tokens contain at most 8,192 bytes.
